Build
You write, integrate, deploy, debug, or operate production systems rather than stopping at a demo.
The FDE market map: companies, verified roles, and specialist search.
For engineers and deployment operators
For people who can move between code, customer context, and production reality—and want to hear about roles that genuinely require all three.
01 · Who it is for
You may already be an FDE—or you may be doing the same work under a different name.
You write, integrate, deploy, debug, or operate production systems rather than stopping at a demo.
You turn ambiguous business and domain problems into an honest technical boundary and delivery plan.
You stay close enough to rollout and adoption to learn whether the system actually worked.
Forward Deployed Engineer, FDSE, AI Deployment Engineer, Applied AI Engineer, Product or Deployment Engineer, and certain hands-on Customer or Solutions Engineering roles can all qualify. A matching title without production ownership does not.
02 · Introduction
Share a LinkedIn, GitHub, portfolio, or résumé; your current location; one deployment or customer outcome you are proud of; and the kinds of roles, locations, and travel cadence you would consider.
Do not email passwords, identity documents, financial information, medical information, confidential customer data, or private source code. Sensitive details such as compensation and work authorization can wait for a direct conversation when relevant.
03 · What happens
The first question is whether the work fits the FDE and AI deployment niche—not whether your current title contains the right keyword.
You receive the real company, role, constraints, and compensation information available at that time.
Interest in one role is not blanket consent. Any presentation is company-and-role specific.
Availability, location, authorization, compensation, and fit are verified directly rather than inferred from public data.
